The year was started by the Global Trek Aviation Jet centre, at Belfast international Airport, winning the FBO of the Year award for Northern Ireland. A true testament to the customer service levels and commitment from the team day in and day out. The positive year continued into the summer, where Global Trek Aviation proudly welcomed visitors and players for the 148th Open Golf Championship. The Championship at Royal Portrush was a huge success and we all have great memories from this time.
During the summer, the Global Trek Aviation Group officially opened at Cardiff International Airport, introducing an unrivalled level of luxury and service to the Welsh Capital Airport.
By the end of the summer, the Cardiff FBO team had completed their comprehensive training and joined their colleagues at Belfast, by being fully Gulfstream and NATA Safety 1st certified. The investment in training has demonstrated the commitment to safety and care that Global trek Aviation adopts company wide at all our FBOs. I am personally proud that Global trek Aviation are the first in Wales to hold these training accreditations.
The year continued positively with both our Belfast and Cardiff FBOs growing and developing additional customer driven services. Private Security Screening now available at both locations for qualifying flights.
